The Pride Center provides programs and support services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual members of the OSU community and their allies (LGBTQQIAA). The Pride Center affirms the identities and empowers the lives of people who are LGBTQQIAA by providing education, outreach, program support, consultation, community development, visibility and advocacy. The Pride Center is a safe space for all members of our community to explore aspects of sexual orientation and gender identity in an open and non-judgmental atmosphere.
OSU itself was named one of the top LGBT campuses in the United States by "The Advocate College Guide for LGBT Students" in 2006. Additionally, OSU continues to have a five star rating and is ranked in the top 20 LGBT-friendly campuses from Campus Pride's LGBT Friendly Campus Climate Index.
