The United States Department of Arts and Culture is sending representatives to OSU for a weekend of imaginative and collaborative workshops and discussions!

Pop-up Presentation:

Join Adam Horowitz, Chief Instigator of the USDAC, on Friday, May 6th at 4:00 PM for a pop-up performative presentation on the USDAC mission and projects. This will be the closing event of the 5th Annual Social Justice Conference, the theme of which will be Social Justice and Mobility.

Cultural Organizing 101 Workshop:

On Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, engage in a creative workshop with Horowitz and Yolanda Wisher, the 2016-2017 Philadelphia Poet Laureate. These events will connect innovative minds in the community, deepen the understanding of cultural democracy, and provide tools for organizing to address social issues in creative and effective ways. Both events are free and open to the public.
